When Niko, Johnny or Luis enters their vicinity, the characters can usually be seen waving or otherwise trying to get the player's attention. Some random characters only appear at certain times of the day. They provide Niko Bellic, Johnny Klebitz, Luis Fernando Lopez and Huang Lee with small storylines and minor missions. Their presence is indicated by a small blue person icon on the radar (white in the DLCs). Random Characters are minor characters found standing on the street in Grand Theft Auto IV, its episodes, and Chinatown Wars. Random characters appear on the streets, this one with Real Badman.
